The 7 Trees Forests Program

The 7 Trees Forests Program, launched in 1994 in Çatalca, Istanbul, with the support of the General Directorate of Forestry, individual and organizational contributions, aims to prevent deforestation, preserve natural heritage, and increase reforestation efforts. The program is grounded in a simple but powerful idea: the average person consumes the benefits of 7 trees annually, scientifically proven. Based on this fact, the CEKUL Foundation named the reforestation initiative "7 Trees Forests," encouraging people to give back the 7 trees they consume each year to nature, not as an obligation, but as an act of gratitude and hope.
Today, planting seven trees has become a meaningful tradition for birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, new babies, loved ones we've lost and for the planet.
