Bu yılki temel başlığı Yaşam İçin Su olan Dünya Günü 2003 (22 Nisan) yaklaşmışken, Irak savaşı ile bu başlık somut bir gerçekliğe dönüştü... Dolayısıyla küresel bir sivil toplum hareketi olan Dünya Günü bu bağlamda daha da önem kazandı...
Geçenlerde Bolivya'daki Dünya Günü Komitesi'nden bir mesaj aldık. ABD'deki Ana komite ile teması kaybettiklerini belirtip, kim nerede ne yapıyorsa belirtilsin istiyorlardı... Bolivya Dünya Günü Komitesi'nin belki de bilemediği, Ana Komite'nin (Earth Day Net = www.earthday.net ) iletişim ekibinin her yıl değiştiği idi. I was trying to conect with the organization in USA of Earthday, but my e-mails were returned. This year were are doing a Global Program for Earthday 2003, and we want to share it with you, recieving also the information of your activities.
The main objective of this Convention with a Fair going on, is to involve the people and reach them with creative and cultural activities. At the same time, we want to invite ejecutive people working in institutions of environment and health to share also activities and programs they are working with, to get more information and development in sostenible proyects. This Program is called Global Conection to Life Cuality and will be put on Internet as a net information. So, the information will keep and be actualized during the whole year as an active global program. At the same time were organizing a fair in a park, with the sale of ecologic and handycraft products. There will be music groups, kids activities and informative panels. This fair also will be in Internet during the whole year on this web site: www.feriaecoart.com
I ask for your answer to this e-mail as soon as posible to give you more information, and tell me, please, what is going on with all the people in USA, Helen Couture, Maria Elena Rodriguez, Serryn Janson, etc. Or maybe, they change e-mail. If somebody knows something, tell me please. Last year I loosed contact with you and now I don't know what is going on with your Programs.
I hope everybody and every country is working for living in this planet with the best we can give. We all already have receive so much of this earth, of this life and it's time to keep dooing what we all were doing each earthday. Just, now let's try to work on it each day a little bit more. What I mean is let's be in contact anouncing our activities and proyects each other, so we can be stronger, changing this planet with practical solutions. Each organization, each person, knows what to do, but as countries people gets confusing with a wrong identification of war, of poors and richs; and different politics. That's why we think, we shoud work between government and no government institutions, we should have more contact each other
and live with blessing and gratitud all the time.
